I love your site, but I must disagree; Abbott and Costello were the best comedy team, bar none. Name me one Martin and Lewis routine that has stood the test of time, and I'll name you a dozen Abbott and Costello routines that will outlive us all. But again, I do enjoy your site.
Personally I like Martin & Lewis movies more than their on-stage stuff. If we are talking movies I'll pick Martin & Lewis any day. I do love Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein though! Why argue? Both groups are tops.
thanks bw, a pretty touching clip, especially considering the rocky history of the duo. like so many other fans, for years i always assumed it was dino's boozing (instead of lewis' huge ego) that had split them up, but not so. this is a nice memory - and one that only sinatra could have pulled off!
