Johnny Cash Live At San Quentin and Folsom Prison are two my favorite albums ever. I love them. I've always wished I could see the footage of the concerts. Now you can. For Christmas I received Johnny Cash At San Quentin (The Complete 1969 Concert) with DVD. It is great. I believe it was filmed for the BBC and speaks about equally about the inmates as it does about Johnny. Now they need to dig up some footage of Folsom and my life will be complete.
I sorta figured if there was footage from the Folsom concerts, we'd have seen it by now. But I've been wrong before. You'll just have to pretend like the stuff in Walk The Line is the real thing.
ReplyDeletesuperb BW - it's one of my favourite albums too !
