Volume 3 Is Ready

Here we go. Volume 3 of Check The Cool Wax. Pardners :: The Best of Dean & Jerry At The Movies. Because the record labels or movie studios would never put this CD out, I had to take it upon myself. These guys are my favorite movie/comic buddies of all time. In my opinion at least, nobody comes close. Here are my favorite songs performed in their movies. Most are duets but a few are solos. Does anyone know if we are going to get a Volume 2 of their DVD sets?

THIS MIX HAS BEEN RETIRED. CAPITOL ACTUALLY PUT OUT A MARTIN AND LEWIS MOVIE ALBUM...

  2. Paramount is releasing a volume 2-it has the rest of their movies except for "Money From Home" and "Three Ring Circus"--I don't know if movies like "Artists and Models" and "Hollywood or Bust" are in the VistaVision aspect ratio but I would hope so...
Thanks a lot for this set!!!!!

WOW! That'a a labor of love indeed
to put vol. 1,2,and 3 together.
You should be working for Rhino
records! Funny, I didn't realize how great the songs as a whole
were. I would say they blow away
all the crosby road picture songs,
and many are a hoot! Or RIOTOUS,
as the naughty outtakes of THE CADDY say. Yeah, Jerry could be a bit obnoxious with the whole "Hey Lady" thing, but Martin brought a
    mellow edge(and humour as well!)
that made it palatable. Most of these songs are lost treasures, except for just a handful. Again, you should be working for an archival record label, or starting your own label/company!
Thanks a MILLION for posting. You can't imagine how much I enjoyed this!

WOW! Thanks sooooo much for putting this together! Back when I used to watch TV, I loved these movies. Martin & Lewis were a great combo and made some of the best 'make ya feel good' movies!

Thanks again I will treasure this CD!!!

  10. You are seriously a genius -- compiling this stuff was incredible enough, but designing the professional-quality artwork took this effort over the top. I agree that a professionally remastered collection should be released, but what you have done here is really remarkable. My compliments!

Per chance do you have the Jerry Lewis song "Never Smile At A Crocodile"? I'd like to play it for a youngster that's never heard it.

    Thanks.

  13. Glad I downloaded this when I did! Tried to find that official Capitol Records release of Dean & Jerry material, but aside from some EMI Legends of Comedy CDs (that just appeared to be stuff from their radio shows), I couldn't find anything that matched what you created with this wonderful collection. Is there a title that would lead me in the right direction?
