May: Ann-Margret Sings Some Disco

Everybody put out a disco album so why not Ann-Margret? Dolly did it. Telly did it. Even Kiss put out I Was Made For Loving You with a disco beat. Here is Ann-Margret's self titled 5 track album from 1980. Pretty much the tail end of the disco era. I hope you enjoy it.

  4. It's now available on CD, but a friend burned this to CD for me years ago. It's a really good disco album. I love "Midnight Message."

Beautiful woman, terrible cover, hard to believe. Actually seems as if she had lots of bad covers. Obviously, my opinion only.

  8. I got this a couple of months ago at half-price books for 50 cents. Glad I didn't pay more, but it's worth having!

Great blog! I also grew up in Minneapolis (NE) and it looks like we're around the same age (I'm 42). We probably shopped at a lot of the same record stores back in the day.

the first three tracks are quite good, especially the groove. Thank you Cool Wax and yes she's a fine looking woman - a total head turner. Edzola Buck
