Stop in, look around, have a drink and crank some tunes. I'll be posting some songs ripped from records, some out of print and hard to find stuff, some songs by artists you should be listening to, and a few mixes here and there.

Here They Are... The Caroleers!

Here are the holiday favorites The Caroleers. These guys made the records that everyone seems to remember, but nobody remembers who they were. Really fun kids music off of Diplomat records. Sorry, I don't know the year on this one.

Where Has This Been My Whole Life?

Are you like me? I love classic TV, and this time of year I'm usually combing the TV Guide or doing tivo searches for Christmas episodes of my favorite shows. Well look no further my good friends. This could be the handiest Christmas TV tool ever. The TV Zone has an ass-kicking list of pretty much every Christmas special airing this year. Check it out. Without this list, I would have never known about the Christmas episodes of Knight Rider AND Card Sharks airing on December 24...

A Couple More Random Songs

These come from a record called Jingle Bell Rock - The Original Bobby Helms Hit! from Pickwick International Records. Get your hankys ready for Christmas In November...

Yuletide Disco

Christmas is a time to get down with your bad self. Listening to this, you can get the feeling you are spending the holidays on the Love Boat having some eggnog with Issac. We have a couple different disco Christmas albums and this is our favorite. Enjoy.

Western Christmas Songs

Here is a smattering of odds and ends with a country western theme. Most are from a various artist record set called An All-Star Country Christmas. These Christmas songs really bring me back. I remember having this on 8-Track when I was little and we played it over and over. After that are some tracks from the Buck Owens & Susan Raye Christmas album and two from Charlie Prides' Christmas In My Home Town album.

Jingle Bells, Batman Smells...

Continuing with my superhero theme, here are three Exciting Christmas Stories. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman all save Christmas in their own stories. Sorry this one is so dusty. This one doesn't say Power Records, but it basically is.

Merry Christmas From Line Material

Here are two sides of a 45 rpm from a company called Line Material. Sorry. I don't know a lot about this company, but I'm guessing they used to put out Christmas records every year as promotion. Here are side 1 and 2 of the first one I have. They are really great songs. I still have one more to rip in.

SORRY. FILES HAVE BEEN REMOVED.

Liberace :: Twas The Night Before Christmas

From yet another various artists record I have laying around. Here is the master showman Liberace with his version of Twas The Night Before Christmas.

Cary Grant :: Christmas Lullaby

Here is a song by Cary Grant called Christmas Lullaby, also off of the Joyous Christmas, Vol. 6 record.

2 Christmas Songs By Danny Kaye

Here are two Christmas songs from Danny Kaye. They are from a record called Joyous Christmas, Vol. 6. Most of the other songs are found on cd. Danny Kaye was never one of my favorites, but there is no doubt is was a master entertainer. It is very strange to me that there isn't a Christmas cd by Danny Kaye available...

Hanna Barbera Organ & Chimes

One of my favorite Christmas record covers. Unfortunately, none of the characters sing on the record. Regardless, it's still a good organ and chime record pumped out (probably) by a blue-haired lady on a Thomas Organ. Reminds me of my childhood. If this would have had the characters on it, it would probably be one of my favorites.

HANNA BARBERA ORGANS & CHIMES :: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Fa La La La La - It's Christmas Time

My plan was to post this entire record. It is one of my Christmas favorites. But because of a new cd of Peggy Lee Christmas songs, I'm only going to post the songs that didn't make the cut. Here are the three tracks from Christmas Carousel that are still out of print. Enjoy.

Lenny Dee :: Happy Holi-Dee

I hope you guys like Christms music because it's Christmas from here on out this year. Yes it's early, but wouldn't you rather get your music early so you could enjoy it your whole Chrismas season instead of just the last week or two? I would. Let's kick-in this season's front door with all things manic. Here is Lenny Dee with his crazy organs. Good luck getting the perma-grin off your face.

LENNY DEE :: HAPPY HOLI-DEE

As an added bonus, Here is Lenny Dee doing My Favorite Things off of his alum of the same name. This song is often associated with the holiday season.

The Whole Peter & Marsha

Once again, here is a repost of the entire record where I had previously posted one track. Just filling more requests. I really love the Brady Bunch. I think I know every episode, own 3 of the 5 DVD sets, etc. But I can't lasth through this album. Play this sometime and get ready to run screaming from the room after only a few tracks...

The Whole Hogan's Heroes

Back in June I posted four tracks from this record and there were requests for the whole thing. Here it is. Sorry for forgetting about it for five months... Here's the cast of Hogan's Heroes (Robert Clary, Richard Dawson, Ivan Dixon and Larry Hovis) with out Bob Crane singing their favorite songs of World War II.

It's Out!

Just got this in the mail from Amazon today. The Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis Collection Volume One. I can't wait to start watching it and see if they did a good job at cleaning it up the eight movies. I'm a little bummed out that this came out with such little fanfare. I knew it was coming out but I couldn't find it anywhere so I had to order it online. I know Dean and Jerry are nowhere close to being popular but with all the crap that comes out, I'd think the top box office draws for a couple of years might show up somewhere. I couldn't even find info on it at the Paramount website. Anyone have any info on Vol. 2? I really want this set to sell at least enough for them to finish out the volumes. My favorite Martin and Lewis movies are the last ones. I'd like to go through all of these and pull of the Dean and Jerry songs.

The Rat Pack Does Country #2

I thought I'd keep this country thing going another day and post some songs by fellow Rat Packer. Here is Sammy also doing some 80's country. I've posted my favorite three songs from the record. If you want the whole thing, send me an email and I'll rip it all.

SAMMY DAVIS, JR. :: SMOKE, SMOKE, SMOKE (THAT CIGARETTE)

SAMMY DAVIS, JR. :: OH LONESOME ME

SAMMY DAVIS, JR. :: HEY WON'T YOU PLAY (ANOTHER SOMEBODY DONE SOMEBODY WRONG SONG)

Dean Martin :: The Nashville Sessions

Dean, Elvis and Cash. These are my three favorites. Lucky for us, almost everything they have recorded has been released on cd which means you won't see much on this site. I try to post things you can't find. Today we have Dean's last studio album and it was put out by Warner Brothers. Every other album of his was on either Reprise or Capitol so this one is kind of orphaned and never put out on cd. I like it a lot. Dean scored a minor hit with Since I've Met You Baby and made his only music video for it.
