Stop in, look around, have a drink and crank some tunes. I'll be posting some songs ripped from records, some out of print and hard to find stuff, some songs by artists you should be listening to, and a few mixes here and there.

Time to get a new present ASAFP so Ralph hock his bowling ball. Alice's present to Ralph? A bowling ball bag.

The Odd Christmas Couple

Felix is trying desperately to get Oscar to star as Scrooge in the policeman's play. Oscar being a scrooge in real life wants nothing to do it. He hates the holidays because it only reminds him of his ex-wife. After a visit from the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, he changes his disposition and accepts the part. After they get hammered, smoke cigars and talk about their awesome Christmas.

Christmas at the Clampetts

Alright. It's almost Christmas and I didn't get through as many Christmas sitcoms as I wanted to so I'm going to have to start posting these in rapid-fire mode... This is a really funny episode, but most of it's spent talking about a boat and a TV that Mr. Drysdale gives them for Christmas. Granny and the gang can't figure out for the life of them what they are for. Not a lot of soudbytes.

Christmas At The Clampetts - Season 2, Episode 14. Aired December 25, 1963.

Christmas Morning

Laverne, Shirley, Lenny, Squiggy And Christmas

Lavern's dad gives a meal every year for the homeless and downtrodden... This year he's to broke to give one so the gang does odds and ends trying to raise the money to have the feast. I have to admit. This isn't my favorite show... But this particular episode has lots of singing and is very Christmasy.

Bob Hope :: Christmas Day

Ahhh. My first record share in about two years... Feels good... I'll start posting more again soon. I'm just not set up for it right now. After Christmas I want to get back to at least one record a month. This first record is from Bob Hope and it's called Holidays from 1973. Each track is about a particular holiday so I decided to share one called Christmas Day. Some great Bob Hope stand-up comedy about old Hollywood. Enjoy.

Christmas In The Twilight Zone

Art Carney gives the roll of a lifetime here as a drunk department store Santa. It seems he just can't get it together because he is so sad that the kids in his depressed neighborhood never get a Merry Christmas. He gets kicked out of his local bar, shit-canned from his job, and with his last hope, he wishes he could make the people in his neighborhood happy even if it's for one day. Soon after he finds the real Santa's bag and becomes a real Kris Kringle.

The Night Of The Meek - Season 2, Episode 11. Aired December 23, 1960.

Christmas On The Green Acres

Mr. Douglas has been dreaming of an old fashioned Christmas for years but just can't seem to have one. Even when he finally moves to the country it seems he just can't get it right. Well not this year. He's cutting down a real tree and celebrating it the right way. The rest of the town shows up at the end to look at his tree but they all high-tail it out of there when Lisa brings out the homemade fruitcake.

A Three's Company Christmas Bash

Our favorite threesome is going to have a Christmas party because the Ropers are out of town. To bad all of their friends are going to the Steven's party in the next apartment complex. No worries. The Ropers come home early and they make plans to have a nice quiet Christmas Eve with them. After making the plans with the Ropers, they get a call from the Stevens inviting them to their party. What can they do? How about try and get Stanley blitzed so they can go to the party that they really want to go to.  A pretty good episode even though there is no Larry... He was probably scoring down at the Regal Beagle.

A Creepy, Kooky, And All Together Ooky Addams's Family Christmas

Pugsley and Wednesday have been told by their neighbor that Santa Claus does not exist, sending the rest of the family into emergency Santa mode. The kids catch on pretty fast and while Gomez and company are all coming clean about pretending to be Santa, the real one shows up and decorates the tree. Some Christmas episodes have a story line that just happens to be during Christmas. This episode is all about Christmas and gets a ten on the Christmas factor scale.
