Stop in, look around, have a drink and crank some tunes. I'll be posting some songs ripped from records, some out of print and hard to find stuff, some songs by artists you should be listening to, and a few mixes here and there.

The Rebel Force Band :: Living In These Star Wars

Here is an absolute classic - the ultimate in camp. The Rebel Force Band - Living In These Star Wars (It might be Living In These Star Warz). Maybe they were trying to get around a copyright. I really wonder why you don't hear more about these guys. This is not the exact cover but it is very close. I had to recreate it because the original cover had some damage.

Thank you so much for posting this. I have been looking for this on ebay, in flea markets and online since the 20th anniversary celebration of the original trilogy. This group and album were featured in a short article on star wars music. All I had ever been able to find was 1 song. May the force be with you!

I heard the Disco track and will try the rest. I want to know more about the album cover saying 'very local' - was that a selling point? It seem life goes on even in these Star Warz.

I had this album as a kid and let a DJ buddy of mine borrow it. I have since parted ways with my friend and lost this album. It is absolutly silly. Don't spend too much aquiring it.

Ugg I totaly missed this and the posting is gone. I have this album and digitized, however sadly there are a few deep scratchs that cause major skips. Any chance thatthis will be reposted? I just need three tracks to replace the ones that I have that skip.

Best always

They tried to just sell the album, but after the dust settled on Star Wars' release, many copyright infringers were taken out handily. It was nasty, many products were being sold with SW logos and characters and were ended quickly.

Oh man, thank you!!!!!!

I saved up my $2 allowance for 2 weeks so I could buy this back when I was a kid when it came out. All my friends thought this was so gay, and I was all rocking out to "Chewie the Rookie Wookie" and "You'll Be a Warrior". I haven't heard these tracks for 30 years.....
