Stop in, look around, have a drink and crank some tunes. I'll be posting some songs ripped from records, some out of print and hard to find stuff, some songs by artists you should be listening to, and a few mixes here and there.

Thunder Alley

Their god is speed...Their pleasure is an "anytime" girl! Damn there are some great cars in this movie. What is it with these American International films that make them so fun to watch? These two songs are from the DVD. I've seen the record around but unfortunately I don't have it (yet). My process is this. I look on IMDB to find the soundtrack listings and then I set out to find the songs. If I miss some in the movie, leave a comment and I'll try and locate it. This time IMDB gave me some bad info because there was only one song by Annette Funicello, not two. It also didn't give me the band that did the Thunder Alley theme song. My question to you, my intelligent readers, is this... Who sang the theme song and what is the exact name of the song? I have it listed below with a question mark until someone gives me the correct answer. TIA!

DAVIE ALLAN & THE AAROWS :: THUNDER ALLEY

ANNETTE FUNICELLO :: WHEN YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT

I believe it was sung my Mike Curb!

there are three versions of the theme. Two are instrumental by the Band Without A Name and Sidewalk Sounds. And then the vocal one is by Mike Curb but it's sung by Band Without A Name, if that makes any sense.

Theme from "Thunder Alley" - Davie Allan & the Arrows. Mike Curb was the producer.

The Thunder Alley theme was sung by Richard Barcelona, one of the guitarists with Band Without a Name. I know this for a fact because I was the bass player for Band Without a Name. Mike Curb had both Richard and I sing the tune. Richard won out!

The instrumental tracks for the tune were recorded by Davy Allen and the Arrows.
