Greetings From Minneapolis

First of all, I'd like to say that I'll be able to start posting records again soon. In the mean time, it's giving me time to post a few things that I've been meaning to do. I spent my formidable years in the 80's and I was lucky enough to live by a city booming with an excellent music scene. Minneapolis, Minnesota in the 80's was it. It was a movement. Here are some of my favorites from the era. What a flashback. The picture above is from First Avenue.

Dean & Jerry Collection Vol. 2

I've been told by some readers here that Volume 2 will be out June 5. I'm really excited about this one. It contains all of my favorite Martin & Lewis movies; Hollywood or Bust, Pardners, Artists & Models, Living It Up, You're Never Too Young. Strangely enough it's missing Money From Home and 3 Ring Circus... Not sure why.

Volume 3 Is Ready

Here we go. Volume 3 of Check The Cool Wax. Pardners :: The Best of Dean & Jerry At The Movies. Because the record labels or movie studios would never put this CD out, I had to take it upon myself. These guys are my favorite movie/comic buddies of all time. In my opinion at least, nobody comes close. Here are my favorite songs performed in their movies. Most are duets but a few are solos. Does anyone know if we are going to get a Volume 2 of their DVD sets?

Since my Mac is still down and I can't currently rip in any albums, I'm switching gears and working on a Best of Martin & Lewis mix. All songs from their movies. The mix is actually done, just working on the art. Look for it in a few days. Lenny Dee will be back on with computer is up and running.
