Ever run into an song or album and wonder who the target market for this is? This song has been on my iPod for a few weeks now and it has me wondering just that. I love it, but I love old records and pop culture and crap like that. I found this song on an indie blog or torrent somewhere. I'm sorry I don't remember where... A quick Google search lead me to the place that had this song already posted. The "band" is called People Like Us. The song I heard was Lost Happy Songs. It's a mash-up... Sort of... I should have researched them more before I posted this, but I just wanted to get it up here. It occurred to me today that the best target audience for this is you guys - the readers of Check The Cool Wax and other blogs and sites that share old and forgotten songs. Check it out. No guarantee you will like it, but it will probably make you chuckle.

OH yeah, Vicki Bennett has been doing amazing work for years and years now. Her Website is at http://peoplelikeus.org/, and it has loads of examples of her work. Definitely recommended.
well ... If John Lennon was inspired to do "Revolution No 9" and could only find "Up with People" style tapes, this is close to what we'd get ...
uh.... wow
Hey! I Keep coming back hoping your Check The Cool Wax Vol. 2 Christmas Mix will be reposted...is there any chance of fixing that link?
I waited a while so I wouldn't bug you, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. :)
