The Complete Hank Snow

Because there were a lot of requests, and to the best of my knowledge this CD is out-of-print, here is the complete album rip. This has quickly become one of my favorites this year. Give it a shot even if you aren't a fan of country music.

HANK SNOW :: CHRISTMAS WITH HANK SNOW

Why Change The Cover?

Ever wonder why they change the cover of an album when they release it on cd? This Chet Atkins cover is just soooo cool and they felt like they had to change it to this. I was almost going to post some songs from this album. It is on cd, but I've read many places that the mastering on the cd was wrong and the album sounds way better. At the last minute I decided not to. Don't want to post songs that appear on cd.

A Couple More Random Songs

These come from a record called Jingle Bell Rock - The Original Bobby Helms Hit! from Pickwick International Records. Get your hankys ready for Christmas In November...

SORRY. FILES HAVE BEEN REMOVED.

Western Christmas Songs

Here is a smattering of odds and ends with a country western theme. Most are from a various artist record set called An All-Star Country Christmas. These Christmas songs really bring me back. I remember having this on 8-Track when I was little and we played it over and over. After that are some tracks from the Buck Owens & Susan Raye Christmas album and two from Charlie Prides' Christmas In My Home Town album.

The Rat Pack Does Country #2

I thought I'd keep this country thing going another day and post some songs by fellow Rat Packer. Here is Sammy also doing some 80's country. I've posted my favorite three songs from the record. If you want the whole thing, send me an email and I'll rip it all.

SAMMY DAVIS, JR. :: SMOKE, SMOKE, SMOKE (THAT CIGARETTE)

SAMMY DAVIS, JR. :: OH LONESOME ME

SAMMY DAVIS, JR. :: HEY WON'T YOU PLAY (ANOTHER SOMEBODY DONE SOMEBODY WRONG SONG)

Dean Martin :: The Nashville Sessions

Dean, Elvis and Cash. These are my three favorites. Lucky for us, almost everything they have recorded has been released on cd which means you won't see much on this site. I try to post things you can't find. Today we have Dean's last studio album and it was put out by Warner Brothers. Every other album of his was on either Reprise or Capitol so this one is kind of orphaned and never put out on cd. I like it a lot. Dean scored a minor hit with Since I've Met You Baby and made his only music video for it.
