Stop in, look around, have a drink and crank some tunes. I'll be posting some songs ripped from records, some out of print and hard to find stuff, some songs by artists you should be listening to, and a few mixes here and there.

Christmas On The Green Acres

Mr. Douglas has been dreaming of an old fashioned Christmas for years but just can't seem to have one. Even when he finally moves to the country it seems he just can't get it right. Well not this year. He's cutting down a real tree and celebrating it the right way. The rest of the town shows up at the end to look at his tree but they all high-tail it out of there when Lisa brings out the homemade fruitcake.

An Old Fashioned Christmas - Season 2, Episode 13. Aired December 21, 1966.

A Three's Company Christmas Bash

Our favorite threesome is going to have a Christmas party because the Ropers are out of town. To bad all of their friends are going to the Steven's party in the next apartment complex. No worries. The Ropers come home early and they make plans to have a nice quiet Christmas Eve with them. After making the plans with the Ropers, they get a call from the Stevens inviting them to their party. What can they do? How about try and get Stanley blitzed so they can go to the party that they really want to go to.  A pretty good episode even though there is no Larry... He was probably scoring down at the Regal Beagle.

A Creepy, Kooky, And All Together Ooky Addams's Family Christmas

Pugsley and Wednesday have been told by their neighbor that Santa Claus does not exist, sending the rest of the family into emergency Santa mode. The kids catch on pretty fast and while Gomez and company are all coming clean about pretending to be Santa, the real one shows up and decorates the tree. Some Christmas episodes have a story line that just happens to be during Christmas. This episode is all about Christmas and gets a ten on the Christmas factor scale.

Christmas With Kid Dynamite!

Things are tough in the hood this Christmas. JJ lost his job and Keith has to work on Christmas Eve down at the taxi garage. What are they going to do? They are going to bring the Christmas party down to the garage, that's what! The Evans family and friends hold a variety show for the cabbies and everyone has a very Merry Christmas. I really wish that everyone's act had more of a Christmas theme... My personal highlight of the show is Bookman's dance. There is a YouTube video of it that I posted a few days ago if you want to scroll down. Good Times all around!

A Very Brady Bunch Christmas

Up next is The Brady Bunch. A classic! Carol loses her voice a week before Christmas and it's feared she can't sing in church at Christmas. Cindy asks a department store Santa to bring back her mommy's voice. He agrees and Mr. Brady has to lecture him. Alice whips up a smelly home remedy concoction that just may work... It does! Oh Come All Ye Faithful!

Take a look at these decorations. I want to live there. That's why I posted so many images. Look at how they decked out that house!

Fred doesn't have the Christmas spirit and there is nothing Lamont or Aunt Esther can do about it. This is until Fred is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. Fred gets the spirit just in time to make it to Esther's party to sing some carols. I ain't afraid to give you one across the lips! Herb Ellis on guitar for Redd Foxx singing The Christmas Song.

Father Knows (the) Best Christmas

Jim wants the remind the kids what Christmas is really about so they set off to cut down their own tree. They didn't take into account the big snowstorm that was about to hit and they get stuck up in the woods. They are soon taken in by a very kind (but kinda bizzarre) stranger who shows them you don't need the flashy city stuff to have a great Christmas. Is the stranger really Santa? Kitten thinks so...
