One of my first Christmas memories is looking at this cover and listening to Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer. I listened to it over and over. It's still one of my Christmas favorites. Here are three songs off of Fred Warings gread record. I always wondered why this never made it to cd. I did find it on cassette once...
UPDATE - I fixed Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The ending was clipped off but now it is fixed.

why bother to post only a few tracks from LPs that you can get in their entirety at other sites? seems like a waste of time.
I grew up with this album, and used to run around the room to Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and then fall to the ground when Rudolph crashes. You know how one Christmas album seems to capture every happy memory of Christmas you have as a child? Well, this album does that for me....actually, my whole family loves and cherishes this album. Thanks for sharing!!
To complainer - I like to post my favorite songs from some of my favorite albums. Everything here has probably been posted other places. This is just a blog of my favorite stuff. We all don't have a checklist and yell dibs on records. If another blog wants to post something here, they should because it's probably a fav of theirs. I would never be offended. Just posting samples (and sometimes whole albums) of my collection. If it's music I love, can't I post some of it on my blog?
Hey would you happen to have the song by little Rita Faye called "I fell Out of A Christmas Tree"? I know it was on two different albums, one from the 50's called "Christmas is for Children" and another in 1996 called "Children's Christmas" I have looked EVERYWHERE! I am trying to find it for my son in laws grandmother for Christmas and for my daughter, they were both born on Christmas. If you know where I can find it please email me at kalypso@comcast.net
Thanks in advance!
Hey, I just noticed this weekend that Fred Warring's Jingle Bells is used in the movie "A Christmas Story."
Pretty cool!
I might have that Rita Faye song on a cassette somewhere...I know a friend of mine has the 45, but he no longer lives in the same town as me.
I'll see if I can at least dig up the cassette version.
I grew up with this one, too. It was always my favorite cover art of my parents' Chistmas stuff. Thanks for the blast from my past!
Sorry - Don't have that Rita Faye song. I'll keep an eye out for it though.
